Old South
First Congregational Church of Farmington, Maine
United Church of Christ
We Serve.
As people who long to follow the way of Jesus, we strive to show love as Jesus did: reaching out to the lost, the lonely, and the "least of these." Our members support important justice work around the world with their time, efforts, and money. We also engage in this work together, as a congregation. And when we engage in service, we find ourselves more grateful and more spiritually alive than we ever expected.

Earth Care & Climate Justice
We are passionate about sustainability and bringing more public attention to the critical issue of climate change. We understand ourselves as co-creators with God and stewards of God's amazing Creation. To this end, our Outreach, Justice & Witness team offers community education about sustainability issues and climate change mitigation. We strive toward making our building more energy-efficient and sustainable.
Equal Exchange
We believe in supporting partnerships with farmers that are economically just and environmentally sound. We serve Equal Exchange coffee, and regularly offer chocolates, olive oils, coffees, and more for sale through our church office and seasonal events.
