Community Christmas Carol Sing
On Saturday, December 20th local musicians Jan Lathrop & John Geschwindner will lead a community Christmas carol sing-along from 2pm to 3pm in the Old South First Church, UCC sanctuary. The community is invited to join in singing favorite Christmas carols and songs of the season. Beverages and cookies will be served in the Vestry Gathering Room following the carol sing-along. The 235 Main Street entrance is handicapped accessible.
Jan and John are now a Farmington-based acoustic duo. Their distinctive sound blends John’s guitar, Jan’s violin, and John’s vocals on a wide variety of songs, spanning genres and decades. On a given evening their selections might include ‘70’s Jim Croce, 60’s Merle Haggard, sweet love songs, classic rock, as well as some originals.
