January 26, 2020                                                            Rev. Marraine Kettell

We take the Bible seriously, not literally.

At Old South, sermons are meant to be the beginning of the conversation, not the end. We engage Biblical texts in ways which are inspiring, challenging, and relevant to our context today. Our sermons explore the historical and cultural background of a scriptural text, examine the ways it currently speaks to our world, and help us to apply those insights to our own corners of the world.  Below you will find some examples of sermons at Old South.
